Live and in-person
Theatre Inconnu is proud to present the world premiere of this one-act (45-minute) comedy by internationally acclaimed author Rachel Wyatt penned especially for Theatre Inconnu.  This play captures the hopes and trepidations of Jared, a 30-year old struggling actor working as a barista.  His interactions with customers, and insights into their lives, provide a heartfelt snapshot of what it means to be human.  At times we laugh with Jared at the eccentricities of his customers, and at others, we share his sincere concern over their struggles, all the while gaining an appreciation of Jared’s own challenges in chasing his life’s dream.  Jared will leave you with a full heart and a cheerful tear in your eye.  To add to the magic, the play will be accompanied by a series of projections of wonderful character drawings by the performer.

“compelling and moving performance… what really makes the production stand out is the character drawings that illustrate the story as Jared narrates it… It is a graphic novel in live action… it will take your heart in hand and remind you of how important human connection really is.”      Nexus Newspaper – Emily Welch
